Our Return-to-Work (RTW) program focuses on early intervention and stay-at-work opportunities. Banyan embraces returning to work as part of the recovery journey. It is well-established in the literature that graduated RTW efforts build self-efficacy, a capability which correlates strongly with sustainable RTW. We advocate wherever possible for early re-entry efforts as a building block in the process.
Our Return-to-Work programs may involve solutions that include graduated hours and modified duties, alternate placement and alternate occupation planning. Our Return-to-Work program also includes:
Communication with all key stakeholders
Monitoring and support
Documentation and reports
Education and support for the employer contact
Clarity for the employer so that they can adequately plan around the absence
