Jennifer Griffiths was nominated and has accepted a two year term on the board of directors for CAVEWAS. CAVEWAS is a national, professional association offering a variety of services to a diverse group of professionals and stakeholders assisting people with disabilities and / or disadvantages to enter, remain in or return to work and / or meaningful engagement within their communities. The association works together to build awareness of ability, helping individuals realize their personal potential and employment goals. CAVEWAS is the only specialty Society under the umbrella of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada.
Jennifer has been with Banyan in her capacity as Manager of Employability and Vocational services since 2008. With over 20 years experience with a keen focus on career counselling, employability support, and vocational assessment, Jennifer has gained acute insight and expertise into assisting adults with disabilities in career transition. With a focus is on current employment trends, employability requirements and technology skills for employment, Jennifer has successfully implemented comprehensive resource tools for key customers at Banyan.
