Our Focus

At Banyan, our focus is the provision of preventative and remedial services to avert or decrease the impact of illness or injury on the employee, the workplace and on other key stakeholders. Our Uniqueness

Banyan provides high quality, customer focused service exclusively to STD/LTD insurers and employers across the country. Our national consultant network (including bilingual consultants in Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia), possess a specific understanding of the individual needs and challenges of both occupational and non-occupational sectors.

Our Consultants

Our Disability Management Consultants are highly qualified; each are University or College graduates with refined communication skills and an average of five years experience in the disability management field. Our consultants are either members of a regulated health profession and/or possess or are eligible for their RRP/CCRC credentials through the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.

Banyan’s management and consultant team possess a clear understanding and extensive experience working with insurers and employers, unions, legal representatives and health care professionals; enabling us to provide comprehensive assessments, plans and programs to assist in the prevention and reduction of the impact of injury on all stakeholders.

Our consultants have a range of specific expertise in areas such as functional, ergonomic and work site assessment, behavior management, neurological rehabilitation, workplace conflict resolution, self-employment issues as well as the counseling of clients with mental health concerns. They are adept at addressing and resolving issues with clients who have physical, emotional, cognitive and workplace issues.
